How about if an Enforcer had the right to ban people.

If the host is afk and there is something happening that is against the server rules. Like advertising an other clan. I most servers it is an instant ban but only the host can ban, but if the enforcer can ban it would be handy. Even if the was a next level of Enforcer like Enforcer+ that can ban players.

problem is alot of host just give out enforcer to random people who compleatly abuse it, it would be even worse if they caould ban, but then i suppose that if that happend then less people would go there which would encourage the host to be choosy about who is enforcer....

I think usually we shouldn't give Ban to the Enforcer or they could just keep bannding for now reason so keep them with limited options

Well what would you say to Enforcer+, my best mate runs a server and we also run a clan. If his afk of doing something else, if a player is breaking rules like advertising and giving abuse. The host would give an instant ban but if hes afk you can only mute him. he logs out log in and he can speak again. It is annoying. I can see that some people would abuse it but, I wouldn't give Enforcer rights to somewon I didn't know

It doesn't unmute him if he logs out and logs back in again. this only works if it was an AUTOmute. A person muted by an enforcer stays muted until an enforcer or host unmutes them

i kinda agree there should be one spot for enforcer just one for the plus one that can be able to ban but a reason why this doesn't happen

Maybe the host who gives out Enforcer can customizes the ability for their Enforcers. One can host, one can mute, or ban.. Or any combination. And why not let the admins have the ability to give and take Enforcers away? I notice some idiots who don't really deserve their enforcing ability but I won't name any names. xD..

I dont think enforcer needs to be changed....normally muting ot IP mute is enough......if they r causin a disruption a mute should be enough to shut them up......the only reason u need ot ban som1 is if they r hackin or somthin which is unlikely

I agree with WaterDude, There should be an option to customize your Enforcers depending on their trust and maturity, As its true only a host can Ban, For example...

I was Away from Keyboard, I had someone logging in as 'Poop' and constantly giving abuse, he was muted.

Yet he left and could speak again?...

This resulted in me coming away from AFK and banning him by key...

He came in as 'Poop127' which resulted in me banning him by key again...

He them came in as 'Poopman' or something similar so I banned him by IP..

Yet he came in AGAIN ( Yet banned by IP?! ) as 'Poopman127' or something similar and caused more abuse.

So when he came in again I banned him by both KEY and IP and yet he was still getting in...

I thought maybe he was using a Proxy Server, but when I checked the 'Unban' Ip list in the host commands, It showed my OWN Ip? I was rather confused. I try to use Dream Deamon, Much better in handling banning and muting, Sadly its only useful if your Server is set to autohost as you can't choose a map through deamon...

Main point is, I don't want to be forced to come back to the computer because someone out there wants to ruin other players fun, I believe if we can give a trusted enforcer the ability to ban and unban, life would be much simplier for us hosts. Of course, I do believe Admins should have the power to also take away those Enforcer Powers if it is found that Trusted Enforcer becomes a rather Untrusted Enforcer...

Only thing is we have like no admin Darker Emerald would need to make more (Not saying me because Darker Emerald probably hates me cause of last time but I would if he let me )
