I have downloaded the mapmaker and noticed something strange, On most of the maps that come with the mapmaker when playing a game everyone receives $20 max reward.

Well.. Apart from Fortress 3, one of the maps that comes with the mapmaker which gives normal reward amounts, is it possible to make custom maps give a normal reward amount? If not then how did the creator of Fortress 3 manage to do so.

At the moment with custom maps not giving more than $20 it means people rarely want to play them so it would be nice to know how to enable normal rewards.

Anyone know if theres a code line to add cash rewards to maps?

Custom maps are made for fun. If you allow these maps to give regular amount of money, a player can make a cheap map to earn money tooo easily. You should be glad.. I remember when they weren't worth a dime..

Is there a way to get a map officially put in the game so that people get money, I just made a map called "Team Fortress", Fortress is one of the most played maps and a team version of it would be awesome if it gave a reward also. I'll post it in my thread now.

That sounds like fun maybe custom maps can go on some sorta inspection to see if they are good enough but this would be a problem cuz people will put there maps like crazy left and right and i dont want to annoy anyone

You get 20 from playing a custom map.. xD.. That already is money.. But if you want to make it official. Send it to DE. And if he likes it, it'll be in the game and you'll be able to win up to 800 cold earned cash.
