How about something to make a little more variety with each persons character, by adding a class choice when creating your character.

Basically it would work like this, each characher class would have slightly different max items per slot and a different ammount of grenades/mines available to them:

Default Class:HP: 20 **
Max Grenades: 6
Max Mines: 5
Nat0 Ammo Per slot: 2
ACP Ammo Per slot: 2
12 Gauge Ammo per slot: 2
.50 Cal Ammo Per slot: 2
Mosin Ammo Per slot: 2
Degal Ammo per slot: 1
9mm Ammo per slot:3
GL ammo per slot: 2
C4 Per slot: 3
Trip Wire Per slot: 3
Sprays per slot: 1
T-Cure's per slot: 1

Medic:HP: 15 ***
Max Grenades: 3
Max Mines: 3
Nat0 Ammo Per slot: 1
ACP Ammo Per slot: 2
12 Gauge Ammo per slot: 0
.50 Cal Ammo Per slot: 0
Mosin Ammo Per slot: 0
Degal Ammo per slot: 3
9mm Ammo per slot: 5
GL ammo per slot: 0 (Flame/Explosion) 3 (Acid/Freeze)
C4 Per slot: 1
Trip Wire Per slot: 0

This wouldn't mean that for example a Medic couldnt use a shotgun, it would merely mean that he wouldn't be able to refil the ammo once it runs out, on the other hand being able to hold 3 sprays and 2 tcures in each slot would make him a very valuable team member seeing as some of the classes (Heavy Weapons/Infiltrator) would be sacraficing the ability to Spray or Cure themselves for a higher ammo capacity.

I've tried to make each class type pretty balanced, so no single class would be "best" in a team game, let me know what you think and how this idea can be modified and worked on.

WaterDude here, I added the stars to show you guys that if DE wants, he can create the speed of each class. * means that the character is going to be pretty slow while someone with **** would be fast! degames/ohmyz.gif And I also added HP. xD.. You can change it if you want to. degames/tonguez.gif

To be honest that would only take me a few hours of recoding to get all that to work also ive been thinking of something like this but never had the time but it looks like you did most of it for me so this would speed it up faster. perhaps next(if) i update reo2 it will be based on this... yer... =]

if we don`t get to keep our default classes then at least we should be upgrade everything like our capacities and shit like that. i wanna be the duke nukem of reo2 and this idea doesn`t appeal to me unless i can upgrade everything back to normal and a little more beyond so i can play the way i do now.

yeah, or maybe like somthing where you can customize it like a set amount of points to spend on how much you can hold for each one(some take more point than others obviously), and later on you can buy additional points for a very high price


...of course this is just me fantisizing rather than a realistic idea, becuase i imagine that this would be a much more complex to add then just coding in several set classes
